Purchase Terms

Available plans, compatible features and the final price are shown in RaceCue and your store's purchase confirmation before you pay.

Free starts and training trial

Basic starts remain free. An eligible free training trial is an explicit, limited training session. It does not enrol you in a paid subscription and does not charge you when it ends. Existing trial allowances are preserved when the app is updated.

Buy once

Where offered, phone Premium is a non-consumable purchase for phone features. Pro adds compatible watch training. An existing phone Premium owner may choose the separate Pro upgrade rather than buying phone Premium again. A buy-once purchase has no recurring charge. Compatibility and the features included in each plan are described in the app.

Monthly Pro

Where offered, monthly Pro includes phone Premium and compatible watch features without a separate Premium purchase. It automatically renews and your store account is charged each billing period until you cancel. The purchase confirmation shows your local price and billing period. Cancelling stops future renewal; access continues until your paid period ends. Any phone Premium or Pro access you bought separately as a non-consumable remains yours.

You can manage or cancel through your Apple or Google store subscription settings, including the Manage subscription option in RaceCue. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Buying a non-consumable plan does not automatically cancel an existing monthly subscription.

Restore and refunds

Use Restore purchases in RaceCue while signed into the store account used for the purchase. Store purchases currently restore within their purchasing platform; Apple and Google purchases do not transfer between platforms. Refund requests and payment questions are handled by the store under its policies and your applicable consumer rights. A refunded or revoked purchase no longer grants its paid features.

Training use

RaceCue provides training cues and estimates. Camera, wrist-motion and two-phone timing depend on supported devices, setup and connectivity. They are not certified competition timing or official false-start adjudication. Experimental features are not included in a plan unless expressly stated in the app.

Software licence and privacy

On Apple devices, the Apple Standard End User Licence Agreement applies unless a different licence is stated on the App Store. Store purchases are also subject to the relevant Apple terms or Google Play terms. Read our Privacy Policy for information about purchase verification and data use.
